Andy Sanders: "The Trajectory of God Is Changing Everything on Earth"

There are steps we take that guide us into our future events...as we "walk by faith" where God leads. I know some of you God is calling to take a great leap of faith into the new He has for you...and this word by Andy Sanders will really help you to do just that as he shares from his own experience.

God wants us to walk into decisions with supernatural faith that will establish a trajectory of where we should be in the years ahead. Everything on earth has changed, is changing, and will continue to transform to bring about an incredible originality that has yet to be seen.

If you can relate to the new God is forming in your life this will challenge you to take those steps of faith as the Lord leads!

A Whole New Life

I remember it as if it were yesterday—June 30, 2006. It was a beautiful, sunny day and not a cloud in sight. As I stood on the driveway of the parsonage where I was pastoring at the time I heard these life-altering words, "Andy, sell all of your stuff, come follow Me, and I will show you a whole new life." All activity around me carried on as usual, but every other sound faded into a hazy buzz in the background as the overpowering voice spoke to me. Those words were so piercing that I looked into the faces of others nearby, assuming that everyone had heard it, soon to discover that I was the only one who had heard my name called by God (audible or not, I don't know).

That one moment—that divine notice from God—changed my entire life forever. My focus, location, family structure, income, even my purpose in life was altered from that second on. So many wonderful friends, events, and divine encounters have come out of that one single act of obedience and faith that I could write about them for the rest of my life, telling of all His goodness over the past ten years, and still only capture a small amount of it. The goodness of God has no limitations.

"Come, follow Me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people." Matthew 4:19, NIV

At the core of the basic principles of faith and obedience is where destiny is forged. When I look back at the last ten years, I see some of the most dramatic changes (good and bad) that this country and world have ever experienced. With many turns in life come many moments of grace from the Father. New territory always shocks the core of the unsuspecting. Life is Changing

"At once they left their nets and followed Him." Matthew 4:20, NIV

At the crossroads of this moment—the instant when everything on earth changes—many are faced with some of the most faith-based decisions that they ever have to face in their lives. I believe (and have believed this for a long time) that the fragmented splinters of the previous era are breaking off completely now, and during this time, many on earth will take some of the bravest, boldest, and most important steps of their lives. It is at these turning points when fear smacks you right in the face as faith smacks you in the behind to move you forward. For many, this is happening now—it is upon us for the summer of 2016.

As I write this, I am faced with some of the most life-changing, trajectory-redefining times that I have ever encountered in my life. A trajectory is the path along which a moving object travels. Trajectory isn't where we are now, but it is the moving path that we follow as God propels us.

Suddenly won't be a distant word any longer; rather, a manifestation that rests right in front of our faces, staring us down. It's like holding your newborn baby for the first time—excitement and joy mingles with terror of the unknown, and yet it is electrifying.

What some of you are feeling right now is the forthcoming marriage between the current stages of your life and the future connections to the new era of your lives—the instant where everything in your life is transformed into something new—like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.

In other words, "Keep the coffee on, but don't plan on staying around very long," because life is taking on a new course for you. The most challenging part about an unexpected life-changing decision is that you cannot plan for it. Security is found within the unchanging—God's faithfulness provides everlasting comfort in uncertain times. Through His strength we are reminded that our lives are designed by the mind of God. We have been crafted through the hands of God's glory. He has blown into our hearts the Father's destiny—our paths are now sealed by Him.

Step Out!

Feeling a little unsettled? Many are hearing, "Come follow Me," and this is a life-changing, family-rearranging, new-assignment-discovering call that will echo transformation on every portion of the earth. For decades, alignments have been forming, plans have been unfolding, and His people have been preparing. And today the Lord is shouting loudly, "Step out and follow Me!" It is the season of our lives when our past prophecies (that which is coming) collide directly into our present (that which has now arrived), thus propelling us into our future. It is when God reveals His promises to you once and for all.

Those who hear the call and step by faith will go forward into a whole new life with God. The plumber may become the pastor. The pastor may become the engineer. The doctor may become the children's clown. The runner may become the media expert. The prostitute may become the politician. The principal may become the mechanic. The business owner may become the missionary. The musician will hear sounds never heard before while the artist discovers the unseen. Many who once lived in the south will end up in the north.

Why? Many are in the final stages of the current eras of their lives, and we are about to cross over into the next phase of life. It is like one day we were in another state living a certain way; now we are in a different state living a completely altered lifestyle with new relationships and careers. When I look back just ten years ago, I see that where I was then is nowhere near where I am now. Nothing is the same as it used to be.

God is using this summer (and the rest of 2016) to properly shift the trajectory of our lives. With trajectory, it doesn't matter where you currently are; it is the path to where you are heading that determines where you will end up. (Photo via flickr)

Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come, follow Me." Matthew 19:21

Was I scared ten years ago when God asked me to sell everything and head out to uncharted territory? You bet! Did I want to turn back that day when we set out with no savings, two kids in car seats, and no insurance? Of course I did! There were times over the years when nothing made sense and I wanted to go back to my Egypt, but the promises that I knew were ahead overwrote the false securities that sat behind. At times I wanted to carry Egypt with me—a suitcase of bondage—into my future, but the bottom line is that I had to fight fear like never before, building my faith to totally new dimensions. But was that journey one of the best decisions in my life? YES!

Remember, trajectory is the path along which a moving object travels. Don't concern yourself with where you were before you read this, but pay close attention to where you are being propelled. "Come follow Me," says the Lord—and He will show you a whole new life!

Around the World: Words to the Nations

2016 Elections:

It isn't what's happening on the television screens that we need to be concerned about the most—it's what is being planned in secret that we must pray over. There are world powers on this earth that are attempting to derail this election.

Northeast:

There is a great exodus and replanting at the same time that has begun in the Northeast. This massive shift will be cyclic in nature—a great relocating of Believers from this region into other regions. The first seeds of the apostolic have ended and the second seeds of the apostolic over this region have now begun. Through time, the Northeast will take on a totally new form, function, and purpose. The "coldness" in spiritual and cultural climates will start to subside and many new works and assignments for the Kingdom will advance in this region. (Photo via Pixabay)

India:

God says, "I am exploding India with salvations. What I am doing in India, India cannot contain. The work within this country will spread throughout the world."

Perth, Australia:

"I am bringing forth the rivers of new and replacing the streams of old. I am awakening the sleeping giants of faith within My people there."

Canada:

I hear the Lord say, "Many have asked, 'What about the center of Canada?' I am bringing two different rivers together to converge in the center of Canada. They are two different outpourings of two different streams."
