I felt such an excitement as I sought the Lord for revelation about what is happening in the spirit during this time. The Lord said, "Much will be revealed and given to those that position themselves to hear and receive." I felt the weighty presence of the Holy Spirit and had a deep impression that we are entering a critical time in the spirit.

I had a vision of people kneeling before the Lord in prayer with such expectancy for what He would reveal and show them. They had their hands out in front of them ready to receive. They were waiting for revelation on the plans and purposes that the Lord had for them and what they needed in order to advance.

Invitations and New Assignments

As they were praying, I saw that items were being placed into their hands. People received different items, but they were always the specific things which would advance them His plans and purposes. These plans would not only affect them, but would impact those around them and the greater regions of influence the Lord was giving them.

I saw a range of items being given to the people. Some were given invitations, others were given blueprints and others playing cards, while still others were given guidebooks or tools. The invitations were for new assignments. The blueprints were details of their destiny. The playing cards were strategies needed for moving forward in a specific area of their life; they were the cards the people needed to play for breakthrough. The guidebook was given to people who needed specific guidance from the Holy Spirit on how to walk and live out an area of their life. The tools were everything they needed to fulfill the plans and purposes set before them.

I then saw the people stand with confidence after receiving the revelation they needed. They continued to listen and watch for what the Holy Spirit was saying and showing them. As they looked out, a road appeared before them. I saw on the road was the word "ADVANCEMENT" in large writing. Some of the people were surprised by the direction of the road, as it was not in the direction they had expected. The people were open to the new and different ways the Holy Spirit was leading them and stepped out on the road with obedience and confidence as they knew the Lord had prepared the way for them.

The Road to Advancement

The Lord then showed me the people had running shoes on and I knew these shoes would be needed as the people were going to move swiftly with what they had been given. There would be accelerated advancement into His plans! My view then changed and I saw that further down the advancement road there were regular "refueling" stations where food, water and supplies were ready for the people to receive. I knew the people would receive further revelation and supplies at these times to keep them moving forward on the road. The Lord was highlighting the fact that everything they needed would be supplied at the perfect time in their travel.

I was then looking way above the people's advancement roads, from a viewpoint high above the ground. The Lord showed me that these roads were converging and crossing over each other in strategic points. The Lord was positioning and bringing people together and aligning people at certain times in order to bring His purposes to pass. These roads were covering whole regions. I knew that each person's advancement road was needed to bring change to the region.

I believe the Lord is encouraging us to enter into prayer with expectancy as He has much to reveal. In Psalm 5:3 we read, "...In the morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation." In Psalm 27:14 we read, "...wait for and hope for and expect the Lord." We are to step out in obedience as we are led by the Holy Spirit and we must be willing to put into action the revelation we are given. James 1:22 tells us we are to be doers of the Word, not just hearers of it only.

The Lord is encouraging us to take our position on the road of advancement with confidence as He has set the path ahead and all we need will be supplied. Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in Christ Jesus." 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."

In Psalm 16:11 we read, "You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." The plans God has for us are plans for welfare and not evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We are to trust in the Lord with all our heart, and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways we are to submit to Him and He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The Lord is inviting you to enter into prayer with expectation to receive revelation on advancing into His plans and purposes and how to overcome areas that have held you back. The Lord will position you into all He has prepared for you, will supply all your needs, and will align you with others at the right time to see His purposes fulfilled. As you are obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will advance and people and regions around you will be impacted as you carry His glory.
