You'll enjoy her account that she and others had in an encounter with an angel in the UK. Kathie shares:
...I was in Bedford with my group and we had a good first meeting on Friday evening. At the end of the meeting, I was standing and talking to a few people at the far side of the room when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of light. I knew that an angel had descended into the room on the other side.

The Angel Who Said, "God Wants All People to be Free"
I take groups every year to England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. These trips are not really mission trips but rather for the people who come. Like a "chill out" trip with beautiful scenery, and God always shows up and does amazing things.
I want to tell you what happened in Bedford, U.K., on our last trip. I have done several conferences at Moggerhanger Estate, which is a beautiful country manor and gardens near Bedford. The conferences are hosted by "His Fragrance Ministries." Michele Grandfield is a lovely prophetic woman who has a very special anointing.
At the last conference a couple of years ago, I was in Bedford with my group and we had a good first meeting on Friday evening. At the end of the meeting, I was standing and talking to a few people at the far side of the room when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of light. I knew that an angel had descended into the room on the other side. One person from my group, Carol, was standing near me. I turned to her and said, "Carol, there is an angel who came, and he is on the other side by the door; go over there and check it out." Carol went over while I finished talking to the people. About 10 minutes later, I went to see what Carol had discovered. The room was crowded and I made my way in the same direction as I had sent Carol.
When I got to the place near the door, Carol was standing there, but she was not there, if you understand what I mean. She was in a trance, caught up in the spirit, and so was not able to communicate with us. The presence of God was very strong, and the rest of us just stood and waited. Eventually, we had to leave the meeting and still Carol had not "come back." We carried her to the bus and then to the hotel, and we stayed in the hotel lobby until the anointing lifted from her. She told us that she went to the place in the meeting room to where I told her when she walked into a light. The light caught her up, away from the room, for a long time.
The light was an angel who was assigned to William Wilberforce's ministry. William Wilberforce spent 18 years tirelessly working in parliament to revoke the slave trade. He got a bill through the parliament nine times and was defeated. The tenth time it was passed overwhelmingly. It took another 26 years to ensure that slavery itself was completely abolished; when it finally occurred in 1833, Wilberforce died a few days later. Read this report:
"On July 26, 1833, the final passage of the emancipation bill was insured when a committee of the House of Commons worked out key details. Three days later, Wilberforce died. Parliament continued working out details of the measure, and later Buxton wrote, 'On the very night on which we were successfully engaged in the House of Commons in passing the clause of the Act of Emancipation...the spirit of our friend left the world. The day which was the termination of his labors was the termination of his life.'" (Christianity Today)
We did not know at the time that William used to go to Moggerhanger to rest and spend time with the Lord. Carol said that the angel told her he wanted all people to be free. Of course, true freedom can only be found in Jesus Christ. He is the only one who has power to deliver us from eternal death. He is the only one who is able to have power and dominion over sin. He is the only one who is the answer to living free from bondage. Others may offer peace and hope, but they are not able to deliver; only the eternal Deliverer is able to deliver us from the fear of death and Hell because He knows all things and is able to deliver and save.
Everyone Must be Led by the Holy Spirit
There is something special about Bedford. I love it there. William Wilberforce went there to rest. John Newton preached there and is buried there. He wrote amazing hymns like "Amazing Grace." John Bunyan was in prison right there, and that's where he began to write "Pilgrim's Progress," which has been translated into just about every readable language. Bedford is a very meaningful place for Christians.
Why am I writing about this now? Well, on Thursday night, April 14th, around 11:00 PM, an angel came to my house; he was a golden color and was very bright. He was one of the angels assigned to William Wilberforce's ministry. That last week I couldn't stop reading about Bedford, and reading especially about Wilberforce. So, when the angel came, I knew it was a divine appointment. He didn't stay here long, but I asked him something and he spoke some things to me.
He said, "It's not good that any of God's children be under control." He said, "Everyone must be led by the Holy Spirit because He is their lifeline and no one else, although God may use someone. Each one being led by His voice is precious to God and no one should interfere. Leaders were to teach people to hear from God for themselves."
In case you're thinking that he is saying everyone can do whatever he feels like, I am not saying that. The angel was talking to me personally, because he knows where I stand. We must all hear from God for ourselves, but we also must be open to others, because we can all get it wrong; none of us has everything down pat. In the end though, we must do what we feel God is telling us. We should not go where our conscience forbids.
The angel had told Carol when we were at the Bedford conference that he had keys for people to set God's people free. I asked him, "Do you have a key for me?" He responded, "You already have a key." He meant that I have truth that sets people free, which is really what my ministry is all about. Then he told me, "Be bold." I thought I was bold already, but when he said that I felt I really wasn't that bold and I sometimes keep back a lot of things.
I know that I need to go back to Bedford. After that, we went on to Wales and encountered a healing angel that was assigned to St. David in the 8th century. That is another story...
