John Belt and Bonnie Jones: "The Master Sculptor is Renovating Us" and "Behold, the Bridegroom Is Coming!"

These are two greats words by John Belt and Bonnie Jones that are speaking a common theme together – God is preparing us and getting ready to bless His Church, His Bride, with His power and glory!

John Belt shares: God is chiseling us as the Master Sculptor to make the perfect image of His Son manifest in our lives. As we yield to His work, we begin to take on the image of Him as true ambassadors of His glory.

Bonnie Jones shares: The Father is getting ready to bless His Church beyond her imagination. And she will be a crown of glory in His hand for the entire world to see. This is the marriage of the Church that arises in His power and glory.

Read these two awesome words and get ready for what our Lord has for you!

We Are Renovators

God has recently been showing me the power of renovation, how we are engaged in His renovating work. Did you know God has made us to be hosts of spiritual renovation? Ultimately, God is the source of all renovation and restoration.

Isaiah 58:12 Those from among you shall build the old waste places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

Without Him there is no restoration for our lives. He is the only One Who can restore us to our original intent and condition. We are privileged to get to take part in this work as we yield ourselves to His Spirit and take on His nature.

Through the promises of God we become partakers of His divine nature. When we take a look at ourselves in our current state, we can see areas that need for some renovation. Just as if you were in a house that needed some fix up, you see the issues, the problems, and the possibilities of what things can look like. People invest in old homes to bring them up-to-date and make them even better. Looking with the natural eye we see the current condition of what we look like. However, in our lives and in the lives of others we can see, help, and bring a positive change.

The Standard of Heaven... Complete in Him

The promises of God show us who we are and what we are to walk in with the perfect picture and goal of being like Jesus Christ. He is the standard. If we measure ourselves with others, we will not make much progress, if any at all. But with Jesus as the standard for our lives, we can more accurately measure what needs done, what must take place, and even more how we can pull upon His grace to bring a restoration work in our lives.

Isn't this why Paul tells us to set our thoughts on things above? It is because the standard of Heaven will take us higher, farther, and bring us to a place of maturity in His presence where all other standards will leave us in mediocrity.

Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. With our eyes steadfastly upon Him, we are anchored to the Person Who is solid, sure, and unchanging. He keeps us on course on our journey to completeness. It is true that we are complete in Him. It is also true that we are on the road to be completely restored in all areas of our lives.

By the grace of God we are what we are, and by the grace of God we will be as He is. God is chiseling us as the Master Sculptor to make the perfect image of His Son manifest in our lives. As we yield to His work, we begin to take on the image of Him as true ambassadors of His glory.

In a vision I saw a wealthy businessman as he came to visit my mother at her house. I acknowledged his presence but nodded so he would not enter my room and be recognized by guests, because I knew he was a married man. He smiled as he turned and walked the other way.

I believe my mother represents the Church, and the businessman was the Lord coming to marry her. And He's bringing the wealth of the Kingdom with Him. He will only come to where He is welcomed. He's coming to those "virgin" churches that have made themselves ready. They have prepared the oil in their lamps and have learned how to rest in Him (see Matthew 25:1-13).

In Jesus' parable, there were ten virgins that had the same opportunity for visitation by the Lord, yet five were foolish and made little preparation. While the other five virgins were wise, they suffered persecution by the foolish ones. Yet they continued to mature in the gifts of the Spirit, were grounded in the Word, and learned to love. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. Matthew 25:2-5

Behold, the Bridegroom is coming! It's not a time of visitation – He's coming to marry the Church! We're getting ready for the marriage of Isaiah 62:3-4, because the Father is blessing this marriage. No longer will the Church be called Forsaken, she shall be called Hephzibah, because the Lord delights in her.

You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. Isaiah 62:3-4

The Father is getting ready to bless His Church beyond her imagination. And she will be a crown of glory in His hand for the entire world to see. This is the marriage of the Church that arises in His power and glory. John Wesley used to say, "Catch on fire and others will love to come watch you burn." When the Son kisses His Bride, she will catch on fire and the glory of the Lord will not be mistaken. People will come from near and far to witness the glory. Birthing of Wisdom

Wisdom has taken hold in the "wise virgin" churches, however a greater wisdom will be birthed out of this crown of glory. Wisdom is the key to opening the door of eternity. Grace gets you in. Favor opens man's heart to understanding, and God's truth opens Heaven's door. This is a progression being worked into the "wise virgin" churches that the Lord will marry. He is taking her above and beyond man's understanding. It's the tool that makes the way straight for salvation in this time of harvest. Man's eye will witness the power of God through the Church outside of walls.

Get ready, for the Bridegroom is coming to marry His Church!
