Dream: "Save As Many Bodies As You Can"

In a most profound dream from God, a couple days ago on September 16, 2014, I seemed to be in a city within a valley among many people. As I walked toward a friend, suddenly, a FLOOD of water began to spread out and rush toward me as if a dam had broken miles away and the waters had released in my direction. Within seconds, I began to fear for my life, and I realized that if I didn't soon make it to the raised ground 50 yards before me, I would be completely swept away in this powerful flood.

I urgently picked up my pace, walking as fast as I could as the water quickly reached my feet, then my ankles, my knees, my waist – and then it began to overtake me – beginning to come up to my face. I barely reached the raised ground ahead of me as the water swept over my head. I reached my hand above me as I was suddenly immersed beneath the water and was BARELY able to grab onto something higher than me. No sooner was I up, than I turned around to see the torrents sweeping by from right to left in front of me, as a mighty rushing river had formed and was carrying away everything in its path. I began to cry out to all who would listen, "Save as many bodies as you can. Grab the bodies." I knew that many drowning people would be quickly sweeping past all of us on what was now the shore.

Many would not wholeheartedly involve themselves in this rescue and so I PLEADED all the more loudly with anyone who would listen to help me save "bodies." It was clear to me that by "bodies" I knew many who were nearly drowned would be rushing by and some would be reaching for help while others would simply be trying to grasp onto ANYTHING so they would be saved from death – these would be the "bodies" I would help. So many others would be already drowned as they swept past me on this new river. I would have to reserve all my strength and energy for those still among the living.

I grabbed my first person rapidly passing me and I pulled her in. I remember kissing her on the forehead to assure her she was safe. Then another, a man this time. They were each so grateful to be rescued. Others saw me and they too began to help. The vast majority of those souls floating past me, I could not save. They were mostly dead bodies already or way too far away for me to reach. I would have to be satisfied with saving only those that came specifically by me, people I could help where no one else could! The other rescuers realized the same about those only THEY could reach.

As we were pulling as many ashore as we could, the dream ended.

Rescue the Perishing - Care For the Dying

God is speaking through this dream and by revelation that we are coming into a time when we can no longer "wish" or "hope" or simply "desire" to rescue the unsaved – or for us only to be praying for those around us to be saved.

We are coming into a time when it will seem... and when it will BE – IMPERATIVE that we MUST SAVE... or BRING TO SALVATION by our very efforts (with the help of the Holy Spirt of course) all who are within our path. All who seem to be reaching out with one last hope that someone will please keep them from being swept away by the flood of the enemy's attack.

It has been almost fashionable in seasons past to "live and let live!" To not get into anyone's space or face. Let everyone do as is right in his own eyes. Those days are fast leaving us as "historic days of the past." The LOST need to be rescued as they cannot do it for themselves and they soon will be beyond their ability to help themselves as they are literally being SWEPT AWAY.

YOU TOO WERE RESCUED by God in years past... yes? And by the skin of your teeth, as the saying goes, "Just in the nick of time."

But remember, it WAS GOD who rescued you and yes, He mostly used Godly men and women to pull you out of the flood of life's disasters that you were in.

Now God is calling to your remembrance how you were snatched from the fire and from the flood.

He's asking... NO! He's IMPLORING YOU – "HELP ME PULL OUT THE BODIES WHO ARE BEING SWEPT AWAY! HELP ME RESCUE THE PERISHING!" (Photo via Wikimedia)

As The Message Bible says in Proverbs 24:11-12:

Rescue the perishing; don't hesitate to step in and help. If you say, "Hey, that's none of my business," will that get you off the hook? Someone is watching you closely, you know – Someone not impressed with weak excuses.

WILL WE DO AS THE OLD HYMN PLEADS?

Rescue The Perishing:

Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o'er the erring one,
Lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus the mighty to save.
Rescue the perishing,
Care for the dying;
Jesus is merciful,
Jesus will save.
