Many will relate vividly to this latest article by Al Thomas...and I might add – YOU NEED THIS WORD! Al Thomas shares:

Never in the history of the Church are so many facing times of despair and uncertainty. Others are lacking in true victory, finances, or needed healing... To resurrect means to "bring back to life." It's time to resurrect your faith... Faith-thinking is Kingdom living at its highest. Faith-thinking is thinking like Jesus. Renewed minds are coming.

Enjoy this word...and I pray "resurrection" in every area needed in your life!

Blessings,

Steve

We Need To Remember That We Are Called Believers, Not Thinkers

Never in the history of the Church are so many facing times of despair and uncertainty. Others are lacking in true victory, finances, or needed healing. Basically, the victorious life in many is elusive. Discouragement is running rampant in the Church. But, there is a way out for disciples of Christ.

To resurrect means to "bring back to life." It's time to resurrect your faith. No, we do not turn in our mind when we accept Christ. Our minds are to be renewed. But Philippians 2:5 says, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus." Ephesians 4:23 says, "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind." Faith-thinking is Kingdom living at its highest. Faith-thinking is thinking like Jesus. Renewed minds are coming.

Remember, The Worst Day In Your Life Is Better Than The Best Day In The Life Of An Unbeliever

Forgiven by Jennifer PageFirst of all, let's put this in perspective. Think you've got problems? Millions of people do not know Christ. Perhaps billions. If they never come to Jesus, they will go to Hell (see Revelation 20:10). I'm not a "turn or burn" type preacher, but that's a truth that is rarely heard in many churches today.

Some churches today teach a soft Gospel ("hyper-grace") message that's easy to swallow – fearing people will be scared away. Mention Hell to most unbelievers and they don't like it. They judge, ridicule, and make fun. But it is true. Jesus said so in John 3:16 & 36. Some people proudly refuse to accept the free gift of grace, or they want to earn God's approval. Yet others just refuse to accept that God even exists. Jesus said that all who believe in Him will go to Heaven. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

Yes, we all have struggles, but the unbeliever has no one to take those struggles to. Peter said, "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). I am not minimizing your dilemma or problems. Perhaps it's a family member who is sick or backslidden. Maybe you are depressed or sick yourself. But remember, you do have faith (see Romans 12:3). We often forget how important that faith is.

No, you are not to have faith in your faith (the Bible never says that), but we are to have faith in God. If your faith in God can move a mountain (see Matthew 21:21), surely it can help you in the worst day of your life. A true disciple lives by his faith – not just in his spiritual life, but also in his emotional and physical life. Paul wrote, "...the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God..." (Galatians 2:20b). When you forget that you are blessed, you get stressed. But you do have faith that God loves you and will get you through. Rise up and believe.

Remember How Important Your Faith In God Is

Redeemed by Jennifer PageFaith is not a mental assent. All of us occasionally doubt, but again, you do have faith in God. Again, Romans 12:3 says that God has given to every person a measure of faith. Yes, Jesus did enjoy a unique relationship with God. But keep this in mind: He had a faith relationship with His Father. He had the Father's ear twenty-four hours a day.

In John 11:42 Jesus (talking to His Father) said, "And I know that You (God, the Father) always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me." Jesus also said in John 20:21, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."

What exactly was Jesus saying in John 11:42 and 20:21? He was saying that because even as the Father always hears Him, He also always hears us. This is huge. This should cause your faith to explode.

Have faith that He always hears you. Have faith that you also are sent by the Father to accomplish the destiny and plans He has for you and your family. Have faith that He wants to save your family (see Acts 16:31).

Remember, God Always Gives More Than You Ask For

God is not stingy. God is not the God of "just enough." Get into your heart the nature of God's heart. Here is God's heart: He always gives more than you come for. He gives "exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think" (Ephesians 3:20). Why? Because our God is love (see 1 John 4:8), and love and faith are tied together.

In Matthew 14:13-21, He fed five thousand (the real "Happy Meal," by the way). He started out with five loaves and two fishes (one basketful). After all were filled to the brim, twelve baskets were left. It was more than what they started with.

He is the God of more. Do not live below a "more-than-enough" God. Faith is the bedrock of the victorious Christian life. Without the activation of genuine biblical faith, Believers will miss God's blessings.

Remember, Your Faith Can Change Your Daily Circumstances

His Joy by Jennifer PageDear one, God wants the very best for you. Let's break this down: First, spiritually, He wants the best for you. 1 Peter 2:2 says, "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word that ye may grow [spiritually]..."

Secondly, He wants the best for your soul: 3 John 2 says, "...that [your soul] may prosper." Thirdly, He wants the best for your body (health).

Spiritually, it means walking in joy. Soul-wise, it means He wants you to have healthy emotions, joy, and a sound mind. And when I say He wants you to have joy, that doesn't mean you are constantly laughing like a hyena, ignoring reality; but you experience an inner peace that can get you through the difficulties of the day.

As mentioned, soul-wise means having a renewed mind (again, see Ephesians 4:23). No matter what your circumstances, if you have a faith-based joy in your spirit, you will not constantly get into a depressed state. Yes, we all have bad days. I've experienced more than a few. When I had life-threatening cancer (and the doctors said I would die), I refused the report and had faith in God. I'm still breathing, by the way, and in good health.

Unbelief can get you pulled into times of negativity. Do not feel guilty when you have doubt. No one needs to tell you this world can be a depressing place. Paul told us to, "Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses" (1 Timothy 6:12).

A Major Prophetic Faith Change Is Coming To America

On the Road by Kate Ter HaarAfter much prayer, God showed me the following revelation, and this is wisdom from Heaven. In the early 1900s, when people traveled or took a vacation, it was vastly different than it is today. Back then, people saved up for long trips. Today, most go on a seven-day cruise, or maybe a two-week trip at the most, in the USA or overseas. Not back then. They planned for a long trip. Many went on a trip that lasted six months, or even a year. Here is the wisdom: At that time they were not called "tourists," like today. Back then they were called "travelers." (Photo via Flickr by Kate Ter Haar)

The origin of the word "tourist" is literally suggested to come from and mean "one who goes in circles," while the word "traveler" may originate from the Old French and mean "one who travails." In the Church we have many Believers (tourists) but few disciples. So many are going in circles and wondering what is going on.

Jesus said, "Go into all the nations and make disciples of all the nations..." (Matthew 28:19). Not Believers but disciples. We have many tourists, but few travelers – those who travail; many Believers – but the Father wants disciples. I see an army of disciples coming. Get ready for the emergence of disciples to invade this country.

Change is coming to the Church as we know it. This will bring true revival. The Spirit of the living God is about to change tourists into travelers. Believers into disciples. We need those who will travail in the Church. Are you ready to travail? Those who travail will be true intercessors that will bring a God-ordained revival that will shake the very foundations of the Church!

Will You not Yourself revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Psalm 85:6
