Crisis Response Intensive
This generation alive is seeing some of the greatest challenges the earth have ever seen. Natural disasters, economic and political crises, terrorist attacks, wars, famines, and disease is on the rise... meanwhile God is raising up crisis response missionaries to release demonstrations of His power to reach the harvest in crisis and see cities rebuilt on the Kingdom of God.
This is a five week in-depth practical training seminar designed to train individuals and crisis response missionaries to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical challenges that arise in crisis and disaster world-wide in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The intensive is made up of 5, one week seminars that build upon one another. Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend the entire 5 week intensive but there is an option to take one or more individual weeks.
Individuals who complete the entire 5 week intensive will receive a badge and credentials as an official "CRI trained responder" and you will be eligible for crisis and disaster deployments around the world with CRI. Week 3 "Spiritual and Emotional Support in Crisis and Disaster" is also part of Crisis Response Internationals Chaplain certification program.

Week 1 | Developing Communities of Refuge
|
Water Purification, Sanitation, Community Development, Intro to Permaculture, Food Security, Preparing Communities of Refuge, Rebuilding Cities, Personal Preparedness.
This week covers skills pertinent to having communities prepared for disaster as we also bridge the gap between crisis response and community development.

Hawaiian Welcome Ceremony: April 4th

Week 2 | Crisis Response Medical
|
Basic Wilderness First Aid Certification Class
Emergency Child Birthing, Alternative Medicine
Triage, Mass Care & Refugee Health Training
This week will cover skills necessary to assist medically during crisis and disasters or in remote settings. No prior medical training is required.
All attendees will receive a Wilderness First Aid Certification
Arrival date: April 12th
Departure date: April 19th
Actual training days: April 14th – 18th

Week 3 | Spiritual and Emotional Support in Disaster and Crisis
|
Spiritual and Emotional Support in Crisis, Group Debriefings,
Grief & Loss, PTSD, Ministering to Refugees, Compassion Fatigue
All attendees will receive CISM certification in Pastoral Crisis Intervention 1.
Attendees that meet additional requirements will be eligible to become a certified chaplain with CRI.

Departure date: April 26th

Week 4 | Search and Rescue
|
SAR TECH 3 – Certification, Urban Search and Rescue, Size Up & Hazard Mitigation, Mass Casualty Events, Hand Tools, Extractions, Land Navigation
Attendees will receive SAR Tech 3 National Level Certification in Search and Rescue.
Arrival date: April 26th
Departure date: May 3rd

Week 5 | Ministering in Hostile Environments & Dangerous Destinations
|
Security Issues, Situational Awareness, Persecution, Walking with Jesus in War Zones, Ministering in Dangerous Destinations, Power Evangelism, Winning Muslims to Christ
Arrival date: May 3rd
Departure date: May 10th

Individual – $2250.00 or $450.00 per week (includes meals and housing)
Optional outreach – $3000.00 to $4000.00

Optional Outreach Deployment |
There will be an optional outreach deployment to Kurdistan of Iraq to minister to the needs of the Syrian refugees fleeing the war. We will be working in refugee camps doing medical clinics, trauma counseling and meeting basic needs as we share the love of God. Outreach is estimated between $3000.00 and $4000.00 at this time. We are prayerfully considering a secondary location. Students will fly directly home from outreach.
