Bless Israel & Be Blessed This Christmas

A group of distinguished foreigners visited Jesus after His birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
They came "from the east" to worship the Christ, "born King of the Jews." They asked, "Where is the Child who has been born King of the Jews? For we observed His star at its rising, and have come to pay Him homage" (Matt 2:2).

The three gifts have several symbolic meanings. All three gifts are costly offerings AND gifts given to a King.

Myrrh was often used as an anointing oil (also used as an embalming oil and incense at funerals—symbolizing death) |

Frankincense as a perfume (symbolizing Jesus' divine status here on earth) |
• |
Gold as a valuable (symbolizing kingship on earth) |
These men prayed and then traveled through difficult land, on camels and foot no less, because God told them. He gave them the star as a sign to light their way.
They were wise and they were blessed.
It's easy to get caught up in today's physical world and forget the power of prayer and blessings. Sometimes it's like electricity...
We can't see electricity. We only see the results.
The same is true with prayer. |
I have seen prayer accomplish some amazing things in my life, and I'm sure you have too. We are all so blessed. We may not physically see our prayers connect with Heaven, but we know that they do.
These 3 Magi got to experience this and so can you. |
It's as simple as prayer.
It is important for us to understand that pray works—even if we can't "see" it! And we can use the power of prayer to direct our lives into positive and productive channels.
But here's the secret, many times our prayers require us to participate. You can't just sit there waiting for something to happen. You have to get out there and act upon it. Just like the Magi who FOLLOWED the star...
In Genesis 12:3, God said, "I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
God loves Israel. God has sustained Israel and His children for generations. You can help bless "the Apple of God's eye" and join thousands who have been a blessing to Israel and released a blessing in their own life!
We know that the Magi released a blessing in their lives when they brought their gifts! And now we can do the same at this special time of year.
Pray for Israel while sponsoring a tree and be blessed.
And when you are sponsoring a tree in Israel, say a prayer—a prayer for you and a prayer for Israel. And then watch your life change and know you have changed lives in Israel.
Maybe your prayer could be something like this:
"Lord, Your Word says that You will bless those who bless Israel. Today, I am blessing the land and the people of Israel by sponsoring an olive tree. I am fulfilling a prophetic act. And I speak to the release of this blessing in Israel and in my life and the lives of my family. I am acting on Your Word! Just like the wise men, I am following Your direction and I am expecting a great harvest!"

A message about My Olive Tree from Curt Landry:
My Olive Tree is a company that encourages the sponsorship of trees in Israel to help boost Israel's agricultural economy and provide jobs through continued harvests, etc. MOT works with agricultural businesses and farmers in Israel. The contract with the farmers states that My Olive Tree receives 10% of the profit of the oil that is harvested annually from the trees. MOT has agreed to donate this annual percentage into humanitarian aid work in Israel—the other 90% remains with the farmers. This is in an effort to bless Israel's industry and families.
Sponsorship: there are options to plant trees for less in Israel. Many times these trees are small "saplings" that are planted solely for the purpose of reforestation. They are generally planted without irrigation and do not receive further care. MOT plants for reforestation and for the purpose of receiving future harvests. The trees are at least 3 feet tall, irrigated and receive the care they need to become mature trees that produce annual harvests. They are purchased from nursery stocks that are "designed" to produce healthy harvests in specific types of soil. The sponsorship of the tree is not tax-deductible.

What you need to know about the special project:

There are 3,141 counties in the United States, and our trees will be planted together in a grove that will be marked and identified as a gift from our nation to Israel. |

There is a virtual visitors' center that allows sponsors to see satellite images of their grove. This information is accessed through the number on a certificate of authenticity that is issued for each tree sponsored. |

The land that My Olive Tree uses for the tree sponsorships is under long term lease agreement. |
• |
My Olive Tree will take responsibility to replace a dead tree. |
• |
Each year, ten percent of the sales of the olive products from our trees will be given back into the nation of Israel, via various humanitarian aid projects that are overseen by Curt Landry's ministry. The remaining percentage of the sales will go back into Israel's agriculture. |

My Olive Tree will provide a high quality wood carved sign that will identify our project. |

Trees have a positive effect on the economy, the environment, and the hearts of the people. They create jobs, they produce oxygen, they produce food, they increase rainfall...they make the desert blossom and rejoice.
