 "God Said: 'My Boomerang Is Coming'"
As I was praying about this season, I kept having several dreams and open visions about boomerangs. While I was thinking about this, my spiritual eyes were opened to see that the boomerang symbol is very similar to the Hebrew letter "Vav," which has the numerical value of six in the Hebrew alphabet. It also denotes the number for humanity. Adam was created in Elohim's image on the sixth day! For those of you who do not live in Australia, the Aboriginal people of Australia have a weapon called the boomerang. Some people have thought it to be a toy, because when it's thrown, it will return to the thrower, given its curved design, but it's really a weapon. When it's thrown accurately, it strikes its prey – usually a kangaroo – and then returns to the one who threw it. By definition (according to the National Museum of Australia), "Boomerangs have many uses. They are weapons for hunting birds and game, such as emu, kangaroo, and other marsupials. The hunter can throw the boomerang directly at the animal or make it ricochet off the ground. In skilled hands, the boomerang is effective for hunting prey up to 100 meters away." God's Boomerang God's Word and actions are like a boomerang – it's in His Word. Isaiah 55:11 tells us that God's Word does not return to Him void, but accomplishes what it was sent to do. When God speaks His Word, it enters the earth, bringing healing, restoration, deliverance and salvation, then returns to God, who sent it. What we declare in His name, in our prayers, sacrifices, actions and faith, works like a boomerang. If we decree according to His will and design, we will see a boomerang – a divine comeback, a divine return and a divine restoration. The principle of the boomerang is coming into full effect starting this June. Two Types of Spiritual Boomerangs "For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for Him and how you have shown your love to Him by caring for other Believers, as you still do." (Hebrews 6:10 NLT) "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:7-9 NIV) There are two distinct types of boomerangs – one to reward the remnant of God and the other to judge the evil that people have done against God's people. Those who are in covenant with God will find their boomerangs returning with their promises and decrees. Their blessings are about to be released back to them. I was reminded of Noah. We see this clearly in Genesis 6. Noah was faithful to God and persevered while the earth was full of evil. Genesis 6:9 (NIV) says, "...Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God." In Genesis 6:11-12 (NKJV) it says, "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth."
In this passage you see the boomerang of blessing and the boomerang of judgment both being released by God. One for life, and another for death. "Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth... Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.'" (Genesis 9:1, 3 NIV) Prune in June – Encouraging Fruit Production God told me that there is a clear distinction and greater fruitfulness that will only happen with people who will go through the pruning. I clearly heard the Lord say, "You better start pruning from this month onward." Another level of fruitfulness is coming. This can only be achieved through pruning unnecessary and unwanted things. Pruning is important because it can remove any portions that have a disease, fungi or other types of decay, stopping it from spreading to healthier branches. Removing these branches can also expose the others to more sunlight and air circulation, which also helps to reduce the incidence of disease. It also encourages fruit production. "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit." (John 15:1-2 NKJV) Ouch... I felt that! Yet this is the process for greater harvest and more fruitfulness. There are many things we will need to start pruning in June and onwards. I was reminded of time wasted in silly talk or time on social media, just to name a few. The Lord then directed me to this passage: "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads" (Revelation 22:1-4 NKJV). The Lord told me that those trees produce every month because they have been pruned so that their fruitfulness is continuous. The boomerang action never ceases! The boomerang will always come with pruning. His Boomerang Is Coming! God said, "My boomerang is coming." Then the Lord pointed me to Habakkuk: "The LORD replied, 'Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it.'" (Habakkuk 1:5 NLT) What are you going to do, LORD? "I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwellings not their own." (Habakkuk 1:6 NIV) This was not the answer Habakkuk wanted to hear. In a later passage he asked, "Lord, will You let go of Your people?" God replied, "Oh no, the boomerang of My judgment is coming to your enemy. There will be life to My people as I boomerang My Word and promises to them" (paraphrase – see Habakkuk 1:12-17, 2:1-8). Referring to the Babylonians, the Lord said, "Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you... The cup from the LORD's right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory." (Habakkuk 2:8, 16 NIV). Judgment on Wicked Systems and Leaders "I see God moving across the deserts from Edom, the Holy One coming from Mount Paran. His brilliant splendor fills the heavens, and the earth is filled with His praise. His coming is as brilliant as the sunrise. Rays of light flash from His hands, where His awesome power is hidden. Pestilence marches before Him; plague follows close behind. When He stops, the earth shakes. When He looks, the nations tremble. He shatters the everlasting mountains and levels the eternal hills. He is the Eternal One! I see the people of Cushan in distress, and the nation of Midian trembling in terror." (Habakkuk 3:3-7 NLT) The judgment on wicked systems and governments will be great, and it shall start in the month of June.
There will be a boomerang of judgment even against some church leaders. We will start to see church leaders, who went out and destroyed others, now being judged in their wicked and twisted ways. People who intentionally made up lies about you and spoke evil against you will have what they have spoken; it will come back upon them. "These people are nothing but brute beasts, born in the wild, predators on the prowl. In the very act of bringing down others with their ignorant blasphemies, they themselves will be brought down, losers in the end. Their evil will boomerang on them. They're so despicable and addicted to pleasure that they indulge in wild parties, carousing in broad daylight. They're obsessed with adultery, compulsive in sin, seducing every vulnerable soul they come upon. Their specialty is greed, and they're experts at it. Dead souls!" (2 Peter 2:12-14 MSG) What I Heard the Lord Say The Lord said, "Lift up your hands to receive the 'boomerang' of My favor, for you have pleased My heart. Boomerangs first circle in the air before their return. But you thought I wasn't coming back for you. You thought that I had forgotten all that you have done for Me. For even if a mother forgets her own child, I will not forget you. "Do not fear, for you are entering a month of pruning in order to bear more fruit. You have been fruitful, but what you are entering into you have never seen before. It's a new level of fruitfulness and does not come without pruning. Your fruit of faith, endurance, trust and sacrifice have all come before Me, and therefore you will receive My divine 'boomerang,' My re-bound of fruitfulness and favor. This will not be compared to the fruit you have sown, for I am a God of multiplication and abundance. "My boomerang of glory will land right in your lap. My great comeback will be greater than anything you have ever experienced. Even if I told you, you would not believe, for you will rise [and] plunder the enemy. You will stand and see My salvation. You will see the wicked drown in their wickedness and greed. For My boomerang of judgment against evil and corruption will be on display. Just like My boomerang destroyed the wicked during the days of Noah, drowned Pharaoh and his army, so it shall be on display once again. You will stand and see a boomerang released from My heavenly court to uplift the righteous and destroy the wicked. "My promises regarding you will not go empty, nor void. For you are destined to bear much fruit – like a boomerang that has come out of My mouth and will not return empty. I will accomplish what I have ordained for them to do. I am pruning My Church and My Body to bear more fruit. Do not fear when you see some fall, for the greatest harvest of fruit is coming. "I am raising up Kingdom investors who will be blessed beyond measure because of their heart for souls. For it is indeed the time of generational wealth transfer. The treasures of darkness will be plundered. The enemy will be in lack, but My people will have a boomerang of wealth and resources flooding their vats. So get ready, for June will be a turning point, a different 'coming around' of manifest fruitfulness. What the enemy tried to withhold from you will boomerang back to you, and his plans to intercept will certainly fail." Whatever you do, don't miss another ELIJAH LIST email!
