A good prophet often prophesies what the enemy intends for evil, not only what God intends for good, though they can both be true. The enemy would like us to believe something bad will happen to this President.

Most prophetic words are to be discerned from a distance AFTER the event has occurred. For instance, God would have known ahead of time of the death of a president, John F. Kennedy. It does not mean he would have been a bad president...it only prophesies that God knows all things. I think JFK was a good president, but God has HIS own reasons for what He allows or disallows. We often don't know God's reasoning.

For instance, David is called "a man after God's own heart", but he sinned greatly here and there. Bathsheba, if the Church had its way, would not be in the line of Christ, but she was. So was Rahab. It's not for us to know why the death was stopped or another death would be allowed.

This is a very specific prophecy and does not negate our call to pray for our current president. If we don't pray for him, we are disobeying Scripture. We must pray for every leader, and it's not based on if we agree with all policies or lifestyles of the leader, either. In other words, God doesn't act like the Church. No, instead, the Church must act like God. The best prophets prophesy according to what they see or hear from God, and not according to their own opinions.

Prophesied on October 25, 2009, in Memphis, Tennessee:

"For there has been a scheme and a plan against the President of this nation, to suffocate him." God says, "The enemy has planned in 2010 to bring shame to the first African President. So that they will say, 'Never again shall an African American be the President of the United States.' This will not happen," says the Lord. "This will not happen. This will not happen.

"There shall come a change in the early part of 2010 and many will say, 'Look, things are not quite as bad as what it seemed,' and those who have murmured and those who have spoken evil, those who have spread words out to bring shame to this race will not be satisfied."

God says, "It has been My desire to raise up a man who would honor Me. Yet the people say, 'But the policies, what about the policies?'" God says, "I told you I will change everything in the midterm of this Presidency. However, the enemy has planned an assassination to suffocate his voice. This will not be completed."

God says, "This will not be successful. This will not be the desire of the people at the time. There are three groups that have planned this, and the prophet has heard these words. For the one who prophesied this President into existence will not regret the words that God placed into his mouth."

"Three groups are putting this together to bring shame to the USA in 2010, but it shall be," says the Lord, "that I will take My angels and I will cause them to hear the prayers of Daniel, Daniel of old. And the prayers of Daniel shall be placed into this time and into this moment. For they shall say, 'What is happening with the prince of Persia? Why is it that there is a battle going on?'"

God said, "The spirit of Daniel is praying that this will not take place. I will bring freedom to Persia. I will bring freedom to Persia. I will bring freedom to the Middle East, but there will not be a peace treaty. However, the salvation of the Lord shall begin to take place in the Middle East as never before."

EDITOR'S NOTE: In 1989 I was deeply immersed in family life. I homeschooled my daughter during the day, then handed off the reigns to my husband at night as I worked part time outside the home; all while expecting our second child. Needless to say, world events and current news topics weren't nearly as pertinent to me as they are now. That began to change, though, in November of '89 as I—and pretty much everyone with a TV—witnessed the amazing collapse of the Berlin Wall. Who could forget the exhilarating images of the first tastes of freedom by East Germans who poured through the formerly-closed checkpoints and sledge-hammered through their wall of separation from the West. On June 12, 1987, then-President Ronald Reagan, in attendance of Berlin's founding celebration, stood on a podium in front of the Brandenburg Gate; the graffitied Berlin Wall in the background.

Mr. Reagan cited some of that graffiti in his epic speech that day saying, "As I looked out a moment ago from the Reichstag, that embodiment of German unity, I noticed words crudely spray-painted upon the wall, perhaps by a young Berliner: 'This wall will fall. Beliefs become reality.' Yes, across Europe, this wall will fall. For it cannot withstand faith; it cannot withstand truth. The wall cannot withstand freedom."

That graffiti and Reagan's words would prove to be prophetic just two years later, when a chain of events set in motion the final months of a divided Germany.

Mass escapes by East Germans during the late summer of 1989, and protest demonstrations that rocked the Communist division that September—known as the Peaceful Revolution—led to the resignation of longtime East German leader Erich Honecker in October of 1989.

What I found to be not widely known however, is that during this time there had been ongoing "Peace Vigils"—prayer meetings—which were held at Nikolai Church in the East German town of Leipzig.

According to an article written by Elizabeth Pond for the CSM, the Nikolai peace vigils began to "grow exponentially" in 1989.

Ms. Pond writes in her account of the catalytic peace march in October of '89: The 10,000 of the previous week were not scared away. Astonishingly, they were joined by 60,000 others who also cast aside their fear and walked past Stasi headquarters chanting, "Wir sind das Volk." "We are the people."

Germany's first successful revolution in history was bloodless. East German parliamentary Speaker Horst Sindermann famously admitted later, "We were ready for everything—everything except candles and prayers."

The wave of refugees escaping East Germany through Czechoslovakia increased dramatically, while on November 4th, 1989, a million protesters gathered in Alexanderplaz, East Berlin...(more)

"I go to sleep peacefully @ night knowing that I may have made a difference in someone's life."

Officer Kim Munley was present at Fort Hood, last Thursday, as Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan began shooting, leaving dead and wounded in his wake. Munley was one of those who was wounded by Hasan, but she is being hailed as a hero for returning fire and finally stopping Hasan's deadly rampage.

Munley is recovering from her wounds and is in stable condition according to the report.

According to a "Tweet" by Munley, she has a "good life…a hard one, but I go to sleep peacefully @ night knowing that I may have made a difference in someone's life."

Some of the postings by others on her Twitter page read:

"Stand tall girl! I'm here to tell you your sisters in policing are very proud of the courage you displayed yesterday. You ARE what being 'on the job' is all about. Your bravery in the line of fire will be long remembered."

"You are a true heroine and we are deeply grateful for your courage," one posting read. "Best Wishes for a full and quick recovery."...(more)
