What We Believe
We believe Jesus died to save us and heal us. There are many instances where the Gospel message is connected to physical healing. Jesus told the disciples in Matthew 10:8 , " As you go, preach this message: The kingdom of heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." We don’t believe there is any one method that brings about healing. We believe the love of God and the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit work together in many creative ways to heal people. Jesus himself demonstrated that physical healing can be instant and miraculous or progressive and take time. We have no idea why some get healed and some don’t, but we are always asking, listening and learning. We recognize our life in Jesus consists of much more than just our physical body. We are called, however, to pray for the sick whenever possible and leave the results to the God. Here is a simple, revelational truth that has freed us up to seek God’s healing without making it the main goal of our life or becoming bitter and disappointed. We believe one of three things happen EVERY time you seek out prayer for healing.
1. You will be instantly healed. 2. You will be healed through several extended times of prayer. 3. God will touch and fill your spirit, impart supernatural Peace and Grace to you to understand, endure and become more like Jesus and you’ll have a great time of fellowship, encouragement and filling!
It’s a WIN, WIN, WIN situation so seek out prayer for everything and approach God with an attitude of openness and watch what He does in your life! He wants to heal and touch your life!
What We Do
You fill out an info card and we will contact you. We usually set aside one hour at a time and have two trained people praying for you. We provide a natural, comfortable atmosphere with no pressure. We do this at someone’s home or at the church. They will simply pray for your situation, wait on the Lord and ask you if anything is happening. You may come back as often as you want. After several times if nothing is happening, we ask the Lord to give us insight and discernment as to what happens next. We encourage you to fill out an info card if you are healed or touched in any way. We believe testimonies build faith and give Glory to the Lord. We will not share any info if you do not want us to.
* The healing room is focused on "physical" healing. When an issue involving emotional healing or deliverance arises, we refer that to the pastor for counsel or referral to an appropriate ministry if you aren’t a regular attender of this church.
