Hours: 7:00-9:00 PM , Fridays Description: We are members of the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) based out of Spokane, WA, and under the direction of Rev. Cal Pierce (www.healingrooms.com). Regionally, we are under the supervision of Dan and Sarah Shepler, directors of the San Diego HRs and regional coordinators for Southern California, AZ and NM (www.sandiegohealingrooms.com). Our local HR is under the umbrella of "the Church in Orange County" (www.thechurchinoc.com) who are members of 3rd Day churches network (www.thirddaychurches.com) and the pastor of the Church in OC, along with the regional coordinators, serve as our board.
Our training is consistent with guidelines established by the IAHR and includes the "why's" of healing as presented in an initial 5-part video training series (Cal Pierce teaching), followed by the "what's" of healing as demonstrated and modelled thru a 3-month hands-on internship. We have a trainer or lead and 2 others in a group who lay hands on an informational sheet and ask God for His heart for each individual prior to them receiving prayer. The team then shares the prophetic words and ministers healing. The session usually lasts 15-30 minutes per person and we encourage them to come back and allow us to stand with them in prayer if the process of healing is not completed immediately.
We have a heart to see people equipped and sent out to establish a healing room in every church, city, and region throughout California. We desire to minister to the sick in our cities while also empowering them to minister to others. We have been called to be a "sending station" that will train many others to take this ministry of healing to the nations.
