F.A.Q.
(Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Do I need an MP3 player to listen to the downloads?

No, you can listen to the downloads on your computer. MP3s will play on Windows Media Player, RealPlayer and a bunch of other media players that could be pre-packaged with your PC!

Q: I have dial up (not DSL), should I choose downloading as an option?

While it is possible to download using Dial-Up service, it is not recommended that you attempt to download music or teaching with dial up. The files are rather large and any disconnect could disrupt the download, causing you to have to start over.

Q: How long will I have access to my download link?

Usually you have access to the link for a couple of days, but if your time lapses past that time, feel free to contact us and include an explanation why you need a new link and we will gladly consider your request.

Q: HELP! I'm seeing a get.asp file when I download! What do I do?

This is an interesting problem that sometimes happens with people that have Firefox. If you are dealing with this issue, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click the "Save as type" dropdown box and select "all files".
  2. under file name, save it as another filename with a .mp3 extension (for example: mp3_TCD-RH003.mp3 - you can actually name it whatever you like, just make sure it ends in .mp3)
  3. Then click Save. You should be able to listen to it, no problem!

Q: Can I burn my .mp3 file to a disk and use it for my own personal use?

Absolutely! However, before you attempt to do so, you will want to consult with your computers documentation for instructions on HOW to do it. We will not be able to give you step-by-step instructions - Each computer is different!

Q: Can I burn my .mp3 file to a disk and send it to a friend for them to listen to?

That depends. Our philsophy here at the Elijahlist, regarding our TEACHING files is "Spread the Word"! Copy them and give them to whoever you want!

However, in regards to our MUSIC files, we MUST obey the copyright laws and respect the musicians who let us sell their mp3s and say "No".
